Eugene Galvin, Bass-Baritone, has sung with the Washington, Wolf Trap, Cincinnati, Sarasota and National Operas, Opera New England, Opera Theater of Northern Virginia, and Summer Opera Theater companies, at Constitution Hall as Sarastro in Magic Flute under the baton of Victor Borge, and as the title character in Marriage of Figaro with the New York Grand Opera.  His roles also include Basilio, Don Giovanni, Colline, Dulcamara, DeBecque and Alidoro.

With Patti Lupone in Regina - Kennedy Center

He has appeared as Gremin in Cleveland Opera’s Eugene Onegin, in the Kennedy Center production of Blitzstein’s Regina with Patti Lupone, as Pandolfe in Summer Opera’s Cendrillon, and created two roles in Wolf Trap Opera’s critically acclaimed world premiere of John Musto’s Volpone.

Other engagements include roles in Washington Concert Opera’s La Cenerentola (Alidoro), Adriana Lecouvreur (Quinault) and  Johann in Werther, and roles in Opera Lafayette’s Le Deserteur, performed in DC and New York and recorded on Naxos Records, and the role of Bartolo in Paisiello’s Barber of Seville at the Kennedy Center. He has sung the title character of Gianni Schicchi with the In Series in DC, and Antonio in North Carolina Opera’s Le Nozze di Figaro.
